Sweden will be looking to reignite their Euro 2024 Qualification campaign when they welcome Austria in Solna in the return leg of their Group F qualification fixtures. The Swedes were a no-show in Vienna when they faced off at the end of June, with their keeper Robin Olsen earning a man-of-the-match award for his twelve saves which were still not enough as they lost 2-0. After losing two of their opening three qualifiers, Sweden are facing an uphill task in their effort to punch a ticket to Euro 2024 as they now sit third in the Group behind leaders Austria and Belgium. They will need a quick turnaround of fortunes if their dreams are to be realized.
After some growing pains, it appears as if Austria have slowly but surely adapted to Ralf Rangnick’s style. That 2-0 win over the hosts in the reverse fixture was a one-sided affair for the most part, as they dominated possession and created a barrage of opportunities only to be thwarted by fine goalkeeping by Olsen. They were not to be denied however as Christoph Baumgartner bagged a late brace to extend the Wunderteam’s unbeaten start to these qualifiers and maintain their stranglehold atop the group. Ralf Ragnick’s side will be keen to make their fourth appearance at the Euros and they pretty much have the prize within their sight if they can maintain their momentum.
Although the bookmakers have the home team as the slight favorites here, we are inclined to put our faith on the away team on account of their terrific form coming into this match as well as their dominant display in the reverse fixture. We are therefore backing Austria on the Draw No Bet option as our main Sweden v Austria prediction for this game

Main tip: Austria Win (Draw No Bet)
Our Sweden vs Austria prediction
According to the statistics and the odds of the bookmakers, we suggest the following tips:
Prediction 1: Austria Win (Draw No Bet)
Austria are top of the group with 3 wins and a draw from their opening 4 qualifying matches. They have also stretched their unbeaten record to 6 matches now going back to November 2022. This record is not to be ignored but even more impressive is their style of play that has brought them to this point. They dominate possession and in the process create a myriad of opportunities while at the same time sniffing the life out of their opponents. This is a style of play can travel and we pretty much expect them to replicate this, even if not to the same degree of dominance as they often do in their backyard. We are therefore going for the safe option of backing Austria to Win on the Draw No Bet with boosted odds from Paripesa

Prediction 2: Over 2.5 Goals
There have been goals galore in Sweden’s home matches. The last 4 straight home games have had at least 3 goals scored. Three of their have e of the last 6 H2H matches featuring these two teams have also had at least three goals scored. With Sweden needing to breathe new life into their campaign, we fancy an open-ended encounter that should see showers of goals raining here. On the basis of this, we are therefore going for the same goalscoring pattern to maintain here and with the best odds from Paripesa @2.20, there is good value for money here!
Prediction 3: Both Teams To Score
Again, sticking with the theme of goals, although the return leg ended 2-0 to Austria, Sweden did have a fair share of their chances with the best going to Victor Lindelöf and Emil Forsberg who forced excellent saves out of goalkeeper Alexander Schlag. 4 of their last 6 H2H also had both teams finding the back of the net. Sweden has scored in 8 of their last 9 home games. Austria have also been in terrific goalscoring form, banging in the net in their last 7 straight games overall. It is also noteworthy that both teams have an array of attacking talent with Sweden’s attack spearheaded by Tottenham’s Kulusevski and the two-goal hero from the first leg Christoph Baumgartner along with Gregoritsch leading the attack for Austria. Looking at this, we are backing Both Teams To Score with Melbet as our last Sweden vs Austria prediction
